Langham

Little birding done of late as not much has been around - however news of a Dark-eyed Junco in Norfolk was intriguing to say the least. I couldn't go Saturday but had to wait til Sunday. We travelled up in the morning to find no sign of the bird in the area. Consequently it wasn't seen the rest of the day.
The Pec Sand at Cley had also moved on, a half 'n' hour wait at Great Ryburgh saw nothing more than a few Hobbies, Kestrels, Sparrowhawks and Buzzard. Clearly an unsuccessful day all round but the best sighting came when I saw a Red Kite down the A1065 through Fakenham.

Blackbird.... doing what ever they do.... for whatever reasons! In the garden of number 10 while waiting for the Junco to make an appearance. (c) Ashley Howe
