Thorney Island

17/09/06 - Another Red-backed Shrike, this time a juvenile on Thorney Island seen from the sea wall in bushes, showing very well but not at an ideal distance for photography again only records were taken. 2 Ospreys were also present often flying over to fish in the channel or on the main pool, one of which caught a huge fish and sat perched for a long period of time. Greenshanks, Buzzards and Whinchat were also seen.
